It is so easy to give up in business and become overwhelmed with the hustle and frustration. Some days can be easier than others. One day you feel on top of the world and the next day you are down in the dumps because of frustration. Maybe your business is not going according to plan. Perhaps you said you would launch last month. Perhaps you wanted to write a book or start a blog by now. Now you feel like you are behind. It’s then becomes easy to make excuses and put of what you said you would do.
Therefore, I want to share three keys to overcoming frustration in your business when it feels you are falling behind.
#1) You must define your reason why. Why are you in business? Who do you want to serve? What do you have to offer the world? When you discover and get clear on your reason why you do what you do and who you are doing it for everything will begin to change. This will allow you to cut down on the chatter in your head and get clear on your purpose.
#2) Develop a Winning Mindset: It does not matter what others say about you that matters, Its what you say about you. Do you believe that you can make it? Yes, business and entrepreneurship can be demanding and challenging, but it can also be rewarding and wonderful. If you think you can then you can. However, if you think you are a failure then you will set yourself up for failure. The universe is set up to attract and bring to you the energy you put out. Therefore, you can start today developing a winning mindset by changing your “Self-talk.” The next time you are tempted to say something negative or critical about yourself, your business or your life immediately replace it with three positive statements. For example, You may think “I will never make it.” What you will say aloud it, “I am successful, I am talented and I have the skills to serve my clients and the ability to make the world a better place. This is all about training yourself to think differently and focus on success.
#3) Show up and Show up! Are you showing up in your business? Simply put if you are going to succeed in business then you must show up to the people whom you are called to serve. When you don’t show up them you don’t make an impact. If people do not see you or know who you are or what your brand is about then they will not be buying from you. Here is a simple action plan: Think about and write down three ways that you can show up. Make the phone calls, Build your email list. Dare to do something differently but serve and show up and do what you need to do to become successful.
